This small corner of Le Marche is a region of contrasts, from gently rolling farmland to alpine meadows, from time-forgotten, medieval villages to a number of Italy's lesser-known città d'arte (cities of art). It's also virtually untouristed, offering simple accommodations and restaurants catering to the local population - making it a great region to get out into the real culture of Italy, which is exactly where this self-guided option takes you. And, as with our Self-Guided Tuscany tour, we provide you with all the tools you need to help you put your spirit of adventure into action.

Just wanted to thank you for the wonderful trip in Marche. The week hiking was the highlight of our 5 weeks in Europe. Extremely well organized and the attention to detail first rate. While it is tough to get a "bad" meal in Italy, your organization made superb choices for dinner. It was like each succeeding chef was trying to outdo the last! If you would please send a listing of your other walking tours, both self-guided and guided.
Thanks again,
The Nogue family
